About Sunshine Irrigation & Light.
Family-owned Phoenix landscape contractor. Fair pricing published on the site. Owner on every install. Same crew from bid to walkthrough.
Jon Anderson, owner.
Sunshine Irrigation & Light is a family-owned Phoenix landscape contractor, in business 27 years. Jon Anderson owns it and runs it. He is on every install — not to supervise from a truck, but to swing a shovel, cut pavers, tune a controller, and hand the keys back at the walkthrough.
The philosophy is simple: fair, transparent, owner on every install. It's why our pricing is on the site instead of behind a "call for a quote" wall. Phoenix service calls run $75 to $125 depending on who's asking; ours are $90 flat. An 8-fixture landscape lighting package is $1,600–$2,400 whether you're in Arcadia or North Phoenix. A drip zone install starts at $1,200. If conditions change once we open the ground — corroded manifold, hard-dig caliche, an old wire fault buried under a previous crew's work — we communicate before the number moves. Nobody gets a surprise on invoice day.
We don't sub the interesting work. Stone, water, fire, steel — we do it ourselves. That's not a marketing line; it's how the company was built and how it stays honest. A kitchen you're paying for should be cut and set by the same hands that pulled the bid together, not handed off to whoever's available that week.
We publish pricing because we're proud of it. It's the fastest way to prove we're not the outfit that scopes to the customer's ZIP code. If the number's right for the yard, the number's right.
Small crew. Everyone on every job.
We're deliberately small. One crew, cross-trained across all eight trades — irrigation, lighting, water, fire, hardscape, design, turf, misting. The guys running your controller programming know how the pavers were laid, because they laid them. The guy tuning your uplights was the one who mapped the specimen trees at the design walk.
That's why continuity works. There's no handoff between "the design crew" and "the install crew" and "the service tech who shows up two years later." It's the same faces from bid to warranty call. Customers notice. Their yards notice.
